Shriyantra Archana is a traditional form of worship in which the Shri Yantra is respectfully worshipped as a sacred representation of the Divine Mother. It is especially connected with Goddess Lalita Tripura Sundari and the wider tradition of Goddess worship. The Shri Yantra is regarded as a sacred focus for prayer, meditation, offerings, and devotion. The traditional Lalita Sahasranama describes the Goddess as the One who resides in the Shri Chakra and connects her worship directly with the sacred Shri Chakra. The same tradition also describes worship of the Shri Chakra through the recitation of her thousand names and offerings. The Devi Bhagavata Purana also describes worship of the Goddess using a yantra, with the Goddess being invoked and worshipped through flowers, fragrance, lamps, food offerings, prayers, and recitation of sacred hymns. Shriyantra Archana may therefore include the worship of the Shri Yantra with flowers, Kumkum, sandalwood, rice, incense, lamps, food offerings, and the recitation of divine names. Depending on the selected form of worship, the Archana may be performed with 108 names, 1,000 names, or other traditional name-based prayers. Devotees may arrange Shriyantra Archana for themselves, their families, or a specific personal intention, seeking the blessings of the Divine Mother for prosperity, peace, harmony, auspiciousness, spiritual strength, abundance, and overall well-being.
