About the Samiti
A registered society of Kashi — serving its temples, and the people of its city.
About Us
Shri Shriyantra Peetham Samiti
A registered religious and charitable society in the sacred city of Kashi, dedicated to preserving and promoting the spiritual and cultural heritage of Sanatan Dharma.

Shri Mahant Acharya Pandit Shiv Prasad Pandey
(Maharaj Ji Lingiya)
Founder & Director
The Samiti is constituted to care for two temples of Kashi — Shri Dakshini Adi Sheetla Mata and Shri Chandreshwar Mahadev Mandir — conducting their worship, service and festivals through the year, and distributing sacred books free of cost to those who seek them.
Its work reaches beyond the shrine. The by-laws commit the Samiti to free healthcare for the helpless, poor and destitute; to blood, eye and organ donation drives; to removing illiteracy and running schools within its area of operation; to the development of women, the elderly and the widowed; and to standing with the public during natural disasters.
None of that is informal. The Samiti has been a registered society since 2007, its by-laws set its area of operation as the whole of Uttar Pradesh, and the 17 objectives reproduced further down this page are the document it is bound by. Everything offered here — a single puja, a seva kept up year after year, a consultation — is carried out under it.
Every ritual conducted under the Samiti follows authentic Vedic procedure, guided by experienced acharyas and astrologers who bring both scriptural knowledge and heartfelt devotion to each seva — connecting present and future generations with India's timeless spiritual traditions.
Born in Varanasi in 1957, Shri Mahant Acharya Pandit Shiv Prasad Pandey has devoted his life to the study and practice of Sanatan Dharma, with deep knowledge of Hindu religious tradition, Vedic ritual, Shri Vidya and Shriyantra Puja. He continues to mentor a new generation of acharyas, so that this lineage is carried forward with the same purity with which it was received.
Recipient of the divine blessings of Dharm Samrat Most Revered Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaj and Anant Shri Vibhushit Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Jyotish & Dwarka-Sharda Peeth, and a worshiper of Bhagwati Shitla Shri Vidya.
