Refund & Cancellation Policy

How cancellation and refund requests are handled by the Samiti.

Scope

This policy covers bookings and seva offerings made through the Shri Shriyantra Peetham Samiti (Regd.) - Kashi website. A seva offering is made by a devotee towards a specific, named activity of the Samiti — such as Annadan, Gau Seva, temple upkeep, or a puja or havan performed by our acharyas — and is carried out as the sankalp for that seva.

Cancelling an Enquiry or Booking Request

Where a service is requested through the booking form without online payment, nothing has been charged and there is nothing to refund. Please tell us as early as you can, by phone, WhatsApp or email, so the acharyas' time and any preparation can be released for another devotee.

Requesting a Cancellation or Refund for a Paid Seva or Package

If you need to request the cancellation or refund of a seva offering or a paid package, please contact the Samiti directly at shriyantrapeetham@gmail.com or +91 63883 98968, quoting the payment identifier shown on your seva receipt. Requests can also be sent through our Contact page.

Each request is read and considered by our team on its own circumstances. The main question is what has already happened: whether the seva or ritual has been performed, whether it has been committed to a date or an acharya, and whether samagri, prasad or other arrangements have already been prepared on your behalf. Where the seva has already been performed or prepared, the offering has served its purpose and a refund is not ordinarily possible.

We do not operate an automatic refund entitlement, and this page deliberately quotes no fixed percentage. What we can say is that every request is looked at properly rather than dismissed, and that we will write back to you with our decision.

If a Refund Is Approved

Where the Samiti approves a refund, it is returned through the original payment method wherever that is technically possible, to the same account or instrument the payment came from. The time it then takes to appear is determined by your bank or card issuer and is outside the Samiti's control.

Failed or Duplicate Payments

If a payment fails, or if you believe you have been charged twice for the same seva, an amount debited by your bank is normally reversed by the bank or the payment gateway without any action from us. If you do not see it returned, please contact us with the payment identifier and we will trace it.

Prasad

Where a seva includes prasad being sent to you, please see our Shipping & Delivery Policy for how delivery is handled and what to do if prasad does not reach you.
